Falls Church Community Television provides a variety of television services to the Falls Church City Government. Select a link below to learn more about the following programs:

City Council

The Falls Church City Council meets at 7:30pm on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. All regularly scheduled City Council meetings are shown live on FCC-TV. Rebroadcast of City Council meetings are the Friday following a Monday meeting. Videotapes of City Council meetings are available for check-out at the city’s Mary Riley Styles Public Library or on loan from FCC-TV.

Live Planning Commission Meeting Coverage

The Falls Church City Planning Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 8m. All regularly scheduled meetings are shown live on FCC-TV. Meetings are re-aired the Friday following a meeting. Videotapes of Planning Commission meetings are available for loan by contacting FCC-TV.

City Break

Falls Church City news and events are the content of this 30 minute program. Chamber of Commerce luncheon speakers, ribbon cuttings and other special features are taped and aired each month.

FCC-TV Electronic Bulletin Board

The Electronic Bulletin Board is a series of informational text/graphic slides and original local music which air during non-programming hours. The Falls Church City Government has a block of slides with a variety of information. The Falls Church City government also utilize the Electronic Bulletin Board to announce weather related school delays/closures and emergency information.

City Events

The Memorial Day Parade, Veterans’ Day Flag Salutes, the Fall Festival, Recreation and Parks’ Dance Recitals and more comprise the list of events videotaped and aired on FCC-TV for the City of Falls Church.
